Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour

3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience using hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools

Job Duties

• Assemble mechanical and electrical products and subassemblies using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
• Follow manufacturing work instructions and established assembly procedures
• Perform assembly tasks including arranging, grouping, placing, taping, sealing, welding, and packaging products
• Inspect materials and report defects or quality concerns to supervisors
• Complete production assignments according to manufacturing schedules
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform basic counting and simple mathematical calculations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
• Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Mechanical Assembler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

A Mechanical Assembler contributes to manufacturing by assembling products safely, accurately, and efficiently using established assembly procedures. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work.

The Mechanical Assembler supports manufacturing operations through careful assembly, product inspection, and adherence to engineering specifications while maintaining safe work practices and production efficiency.
