Job Title: Mechanical Assembler 

Duration:  3 - 6 months 

Pay range : $19.50/hr. on w2 without benefits 

Shift: 2nd shift: 3PM-1:30AM Mon-Thur (3-6 month contract role)

 

Job Description:

  • With minimum supervision, responsible for a variety of assemble/test functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Following establishes procedures, responsibilities may include some or all of the following.
  • Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
    Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
  • Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specification.
  • Assembles/tests to customer and/or industry standards.
  • Ensures equipment is calibrated in accordance with calibration schedule.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred.
  • May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
