Job Purpose:
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment as needed
- Initiates process improvements of assigned working area.
Education & Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 1- 2 years related experience of production and technical knowledge.
- High school diploma and college courses preferred.
- Must be able to lift and push up to 20 pounds
- Able to stand all day
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to use hand tools such as a Electric drivers
- Able to work 40+ a week
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision
- Read and understand prints and drawings.
