The Mechanical/Welder Technician reports directly to their assigned Mechanical Supervisor and is responsible for Mechanical Maintenance activities of all related Power Plant Equipment as assigned. Some of the common duties will be but not limited to: valve repair/replacement, lubrication of equipment, filter changing & cleaning, system leak repair, and component & driver alignment, bearing repairs & replacement, component replacement, general industrial maintenance, housekeeping, training and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Some MIG/TIG and Stick Welding will be required. This person will follow the Plant Safety Procedures and the Plant LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-Out) System at all times. The position will be supporting the Longview Power 700 MW Super-Critical Coal Fired Generating Station. |
