We are seeking a responsible Service Technician to perform annual inspections, quality preventative maintenance inspections, and quality maintenance repairs on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, and other company owned equipment. You will read work orders from the Fleet Manager or Drivers and record services and repairs to maintain accurate vehicle records. Must be able to diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs. You must be able to conduct field visits in case of an emergency or sudden breakdown. Complete PM services, tire rotations, and brake checks. Will assist in ordering parts, accepting deliveries and maintaining shop inventory.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, time management skills Attention to detail, quality focus Must be tech savvy and proficient using and iPhone/iPad, Microsoft software and industry/company specific software such as Cummins Insite Must have a basic working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems with basic trouble shooting skills
Qualifications
Minimum age of 21 Valid drivers license with reliable transportation High school diploma or GED Satisfactory completion of post-secondary education in diesel automotive repair Must be willing to travel overnight to fix equipment on job sites approximately 50% of time. Class B CDL preferred or willing to obtain within one year of employment. The company will reimburse up to $750 upon passing the class

Perform physical activities that requires considerable use of your arms and legs such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, and handling materials Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
