Position Overview

zTrip is looking for a motivated and dependable Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical experience who are eager to expand their skills while helping maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient fleet. Working alongside experienced maintenance professionals, you'll perform preventative maintenance, inspections, tire service, and vehicle repairs that help keep our transportation operations running smoothly.

Schedule

2nd Shift

• Weekend availability required based on business needs

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanic:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Complete oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and general mechanical repairs
• Repair and replace tires as needed
• Diagnose and address basic mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Work closely with fellow mechanics and supervisors to complete repairs efficiently
• Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures
• Assist in minimizing vehicle downtime through timely service and repairs

Qualifications of a Mechanic:

• 1-2 years of mechanical, automotive, or related maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to repair and replace tires
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail
