    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on our client's fleet of diesel-powered vehicles. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who is looking to grow in a stable, team-oriented environment.


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform basic maintenance on diesel vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
    • Inspect and service brakes, tires, batteries, and lighting systems
    • Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues under the guidance of senior technicians
    • Complete maintenance checklists and keep accurate service records
    • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
    • Keep work area clean and organized
    • Perform roadside service calls when needed


    Experience & Requirements:

    • 1+ year of experience working on diesel engines or heavy-duty vehicles (preferred but not required)
    • Basic knowledge of diesel systems, tools, and repair techniques
    • Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance schedules
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
    • Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
    • Own basic hand tools (preferred)
    • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
