Meat Cutter

Follow processing direction for production of bratwurst, smokes meats, other specialty items - Preparing the meat case for business. - Processing register transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing a high level of customer service.

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Meat Cutter to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers. The Meat Cutter will be responsible for:

- Cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat according to customer specifications

- Ensure proper handling and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment, such as knives, saws, grinders, and slicers
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Follow processing direction for production of bratwurst, smokes meats, other specialty items

- Preparing the meat case for business 

- Processing register transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing a high level of customer service.

- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and assisting customers with their purchases

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a meat cutter or butcher in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knife skills and the ability to handle meat safely and efficiently
