JOB SUMMARY
Join ONEOK, a Fortune 500 leader in the energy industry, as an Intermediate Measurement Technician within our Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) segment in Lemont or Morris, IL. In this hands-on role, you will help ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of critical measurement systems that support the transportation and processing of NGL products. Working across a variety of field locations, you will install, test, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement and regulation equipment while supporting safe and efficient operations.
This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies, including flow computers, Coriolis meters, gas chromatographs, telemetering systems, and other measurement devices. You will partner closely with operations and corporate measurement personnel to maintain regulatory compliance, support contractual obligations, and ensure accurate product measurement across the system.

Job Profile Summary
Performs activities related to measurement functions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain orifice, positive, Coriolis, Ultrasonic, and dry flow meters, regulator settings, telemetering systems, electronic flow computers, odorant systems, and relief valves (as specified by position)
Perform measurement, sampling, and regulation operations and maintenance at facilities
Calibrate and maintain test instrumentation and auxiliary equipment
Drive and ensure maintenance of company vehicle
Effective interaction with corporate measurement personnel and adherence to corporate measurement procedures
Prepare reports including but not limited to (as specified by position):
Job orders and completion reports
Meter and regulator installation and/or removal (Test-It)
Equipment and operational tests, repairs, and maintenance
DOT compliance reports
Sample reports
Generate batch tickets
Inspects, maintains, and performs repairs and preventative maintenance on measurement devices and equipment such as, but not limited, to flow computer, mass flow meters, turbine meters, Coriolis meters, gas chromatographs, sulfur analyzers, and other related devices
Witness meter calibrations per contractual obligations
Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
Develops understanding of causes of measurement uncertainty e.g., selection of appropriate metering device, metering device installation, proper meter operation, processing of metering information, maintenance of metering devices
Education
Work Experience
Training and/or experience relative to:
Meter testing and installation
Regulating flow and pressure
Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
Servicing/repairing measuring station equipment
Interpretation of measurement data
Characteristics of product handled
Experience in reading and interpreting maps, plats, atlas pages, dials, gauges, sample reports, drawings, procedures, correction tables, and applicable operation and safety manuals
