PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists Program Director in developing and revising program policies and procedures
• Ensures that clinical records are accurate, current and meet all agency and funding source requirements
• Ensures that all clients receive quality service in compliance with all funding source, agency and licensing standards
• Provide case management services
• Prepare client assessments, initial treatment plans, quarterly reviews, and discharge planning
• Participate in care planning team meetings and/or group consultations as required
• Maintain client caseload
• Run multiple clinical groups per week
• Provide clinical oversight of programs
• Maintain effective and positive working relationships with referral sources, community members, colleagues, supervisor, employees and other agency programs
• Promote agency culture of learning and respect to others as well a agency mission and strategic plan
• Exhibit professionalism in all job functions (confidentiality, boundaries, respect for other employees)
• Appropriate representation of agency at all times (public, families and vendors)
• Participate in meetings as required, both internal and external
• Attend mandatory trainings
• Work with children, adolescents, adults and elders representing varying ethnicities, cultures, and religions; educational level and socioeconomic status is also variable
• Crisis intervention and referral to higher level of care as needed
• Drive clients to and from program and activities

. Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in mental health, social work, counseling or related field required; license eligible
• Must demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of clinical theory and practice
• Knowledge, skills and supports to identify needs of abused and neglected children and adults
• Understand child development and individual and family functioning.
• Engage difficult to reach, traumatized or disengaged individuals and families
• Work with individuals with co-occurring, mental health and substance use conditions
• Collaborate with other disciplines and services
• Previous work experience with 7-18 year old
• Must possess strong organizational and clinical communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Acceptable CORI and SORI
