MDS Coordinator / Resource Nurse

MDS Coordinator - Full-Time 

 

River Garden is recruiting an experienced MDS nurse to join our care team. We are a not-for-profit care community with a longstanding history of excellence in long term care. •Two years of experience in MDS Coding/Dx Coding, PDPM, Triple Check and Med Certifications

•RNAC Certification preferred.

•Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; high level of initiative and creative problems-solving ability.

•Two years of recent clinical experience in a health care setting, geriatric setting preferred, one year supervisory or management experience.

•An active RN License within the state of Florida.

 

•Care plan resident needs as assessed by care team.

•Coordinate and oversee all areas of the MDS assessment process to assure compliance with all federal and state requirements.  

•Participates in the management of resident care 

•Demonstrates appropriate and safe work practices and behaviors.

•Identify changes in resident’s status and intervenes based on nursing knowledge and judgment as well as MD orders.
