MD/DO Required Clinical Assistant | Surgery ENT| Full-Time Days

1 year - Clerical/Customer Service experience, ideally in a healthcare related industry, experience with third party payors and computer experience for inputting data and reviewing patient demographic material. Overview: A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.

Overview: A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.Degree in medicine or other fields, with plans for career in dental, medicine, advanced medical practice, pharmacy, chiropractor, physical and occupational therapy, or other allied fields. Responsibilities:

Assist with patient examinations or treatments.

May perform scribe functions by documenting all provider/patient interactions in the medical record 
under the supervision and responsibility of a licensed clinician

Observe and report patients' signs or symptoms. Participates in performance improvement projects.
Participates as an active care team member in the coordination of patient care.

Provides a standard of excellence as it relates to customer service for patients, staff members, 
and other customers.

Assists with test scoring

Assists with report documentation

Qualifications:

Experience Requirements:

1 year - Clerical/Customer Service experience, ideally in a healthcare related industry, experience with third party payors and computer experience for inputting data and reviewing patient demographic material. - preferred

 

Education: 

Degree in medicine, with plans for a career in dental, medicine, advanced medical practice, pharmacy, chiropractor, physical/occupational therapy, or other allied health fields. Required

 

Certifications/Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) - required - at time of hire

 

Travel: Up to 10%
