Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) & Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) at at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Day Shift position, from Monday to Friday 700-330.
The Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) & Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) works in conjunction with the Cardiovascular Services Nursing Director and CICU Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and nursing education at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. They foster an environment of learning, open communication, research and team collaboration for patients requiring MCS (e.g., Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Impella devices). The MCS & Quality Improvement Coordinator RN develops, provides and manages initial and ongoing education related to MCS devices, ECMO Specialist and RN''s. The MCS & QI Coordinator RN performs activities in QI program management, including administration and continuous process improvement, driving clinical quality improvement activities. The role also includes competency management and tracking, as well as data tracking to monitor program performance. Additionally, the MCS & Quality Coordinator monitors safety events related to ECMO to identify trends and tailor education needs accordingly.

The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
