    Program Summary

    The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces

    Job Summary

    The Electronic Technician Maintenance III is responsible for the maintenance, repair, inspection, and safe operation of cranes and related support equipment. This role ensures that all equipment functions efficiently and in compliance with applicable standards to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Operate cranes as required to perform system tests, spreader changes, maintenance operations, and cargo handling.
    • Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, oil and filter changes, adjustments, and component replacement.
    • Assist with generator and motor removal, installation, alignment, and repair.
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
    • Maintain accurate service, inspection, and maintenance records for all equipment.
    • Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
    • Maintain work areas and assigned equipment in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
    • Monitor and maintain adequate spare parts and supply levels.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
    • General knowledge of industrial electricity and electronics.
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
    • Technical or vocational training may substitute for some experience.
    • Valid driver's license; ability to obtain and maintain endorsements if required.
