The member will oversee operations of the Loop, UM's student-facing campus thrift store, implementing systems for materials intake and inventory tracking to expand student access to affordable goods and campus resources including the ASUM food pantry. The member will develop partnerships with Bear Necessities and UM Catering to implement food collection and distribution systems that reduce food waste while expanding student meal access. The member will implement waste reduction initiatives through waste audits, develop composting programs for student apartments, and train zero waste ambassadors to coordinate sustainable events at Griz Stadium.
