McDonald Athletic Center Student Worker

Work Hours:

6am -10 pm M-TH, 6am-8 pm Fri, 10 am - 9 pm Sat, 2-6 pm Sundays.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome students, employees, and community members while providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor the Mackenzie Athletic Center (MAC) and Fitness Center to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Assist with facility opening and closing procedures.
• Perform routine cleaning, organize equipment, and encourage proper use of fitness equipment.
• Monitor facility access, answer questions, and assist with general office tasks as needed.
• Complete cleaning checklists and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Ability to work independently and pay attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light cleaning throughout a shift.
• Ability to lift and organize fitness equipment as needed.
• No prior experience required; training is provided.

Type of Work:

• Support the daily operations of the Mackenzie Athletic Center by staffing the front desk or Fitness Center, assisting guests, monitoring facility use, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and helping provide a safe, welcoming experience for all users.
