    Memory Care Caregiver

    Dallas Retirement Village | Dallas, OR

    Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    We're looking for compassionate, dependable team members who are passionate about supporting seniors living with memory loss in a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.

    What You'll Do

    Memory Care Caregivers provide direct support and assistance to residents while promoting safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
    • Support residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
    • Assist with meal service, dining support, and hydration needs
    • Monitor residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns
    • Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement opportunities
    • Assist residents with appointments, activities, and community participation
    • Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized service plans
    • Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
    • Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures
    • Support a calm, welcoming, and resident-centered environment

    What You Bring

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Previous experience working with older adults preferred, but not required
    • Ability to communicate effectively and document care accurately
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
    • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required or ability to obtain within required timeframe
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
