Pay Rate: Up to $60.00-70.00/hr

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst specializing in IBM Maximo, MIF, and Machine Reliability to support manufacturing IIoT initiatives in the automotive industry. This position bridges maintenance teams, technicians, engineers, and internal IT developers to gather business requirements and optimize reliability metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements directly from technicians and engineers, translating technical maintenance needs into actionable IT developer specifications.

• Manage IBM Maximo workflow and application configuration.

• Perform data mapping using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).

• Execute SQL queries across Oracle and SQL Server databases.

• Analyze key reliability metrics, including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).

• Implement Predictive and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies.

• Optimize failure code hierarchy structures.

• Create Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts.

• Build custom dashboards using BIRT, Cognos, or Power BI.

• Coordinate cross-functionally with core business teams, manage vendor escalations directly with IBM, and collaborate across multi-tier internal IT teams for issue resolution.

• Process Flow documentation.

• Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and UAT scripts.

• Data conversion and data maintenance execution.

• Out-of-the-box, industry best-practice solutions and thought leadership.

• Hands-on technical configuration and development support.

• Mentorship and knowledge transfer to client project team members.

Custom Skills & Requirements (EXPERT/ADVANCED/NONE):

• IBM Maximo: Hands-on experience with application configuration and workflow design.

• Maximo Integration Framework (MIF): Proficiency in MIF data mapping and integration setup.

• SQL Querying: Strong querying capability for Oracle and SQL Server databases.

• Industry Focus: Experience within the Automotive sector preferred.
