Serves as a liaison between the appropriate instructional dean and the faculty within the division.
Conducts regular classroom observations and evaluations of faculty within the division.
Coordinates the department chairs in their duties to lead curriculum development, quality instruction and curriculum alignment.
Manages the division and departmental budgets.
Leads the recruitment and promotion of all majors and Schools of Academics that are associated with the division.
Maintains strategic planning, faculty coordination, and student engagement
Develops long-term goals and strategies for the growth and improvement of the social science department.
Performs other functions consistent with the position as requested by the appropriate administrator.
