Job Summary
Chesterton Academy, a joyfully Catholic, classical high school, seeks a dynamic and mission-aligned full-time Mathematics Teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will bring both academic excellence and a passion for mentoring high school students through faith-filled instruction in mathematics. Part-time options may be considered.  

Responsibilities 
  • Teach a range of high school math courses, including but not limited to Algebra II/Trigonometry, Geometry (Euclidean), Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics
  • Develop engaging lesson plans consistent with the classical, integrated curriculum of Chesterton Schools Network
  • Cultivate a classroom environment that reflects joy, virtue, order, and the pursuit of truth
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate faith and reason into every aspect of instruction
  • Participate in school-wide formation activities, including retreats, the House system, and student mentorship
  • Attend daily Mass with students and faculty, fostering the school’s vibrant spiritual life
  • Hold office hours for student support and mentorship
  • Engage in the life of the school through events, clubs, and parent communication
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field
  • 1-3 years of high school teaching experience preferred
  • Previous experience or familiarity with classical education and Euclidean geometry is highly valued
  • Practicing Roman Catholic willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium
  • Passion for the mission of Chesterton Academy and a desire to mentor students in virtue and vocation
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfort with using digital tools such as Google Suite, Zoom, or learning platforms as needed
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $62,290.00 per year
