You will play a vital role in developing students' mathematics skills while building an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities

    • Instruction & Pedagogy: Plan, prepare, and deliver high -quality, standards -based instruction in secondary mathematics aligned with state standards.
    • Applied Learning: Integrate real-world scenarios into math coursework to make learning practical and engaging.
    • Assessment & Planning: Establish curriculum goals, conduct ongoing formative and summative assessments, and track student growth.
    • Culture & Inclusion: Cultivate an inclusive, welcoming classroom environment that prioritizes student well-being, psychological safety, and active collaboration.
    • Professional Collaboration: Work closely with the Math department to align curriculum, analyze student achievement data, and support district initiatives. Qualifications & Physical Requirements
    • Certification: Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate through an EQ or EX math certification.
    • Relational Leadership: Proven ability to build strong, trusting connections with secondary students, and guide diverse student groups.
    • Content Mastery: Demonstrated excellence in mathematics courses pedagogy.
    • Tech & Organization: High proficiency with PowerSchool, digital learning management systems, and the Microsoft and Google Suites.
