What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized maternal-fetal medicine consultation and ultrasound interpretation for patients aged 18+ in childbearing years.
- Support the obstetrics department with high-risk pregnancy management, including pregnancy-induced hypertension, HELLP syndrome, diabetes, and other complex conditions.
- Perform and interpret level II targeted ultrasounds, echocardiography, and amniocentesis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, MAs, and advanced practitioners.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 25 per day in a 10-bed department.
- Contribute to prenatal care planning, diagnosis, and management of complex pregnancies.
- Support ultrasounds and fetal assessments vital for obstetric care.
What You Need
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Valid PA medical license
- Current DEA certification
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in maternal-fetal medicine
- Strong ultrasound diagnostic skills preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
