TE Connectivity in Wilsonville, OR is looking for a Materials Planning Analyst, responsible for developing and maintaining valid production schedules from the backlog and demand forecast to meet customer requirements, while utilizing resources cost effectively. Handle finite schedule for minimum of 3 departments. Manage outsource vendor purchase orders, schedules, and forecasts. Perform capacity analysis and create MRP plans for Customer Service. Manage weekly revenue projections. Revise schedule and level load daily based on new orders received and input from planning, manufacturing, and sales. Responsible for managing Kanban inventory levels and replenishment with input from sales. Provide lead-times when requested from sales based on the plant schedule and loading. Schedule release of finished material to customer orders. Generate master production schedule in accordance with Sales & Operation plan for at least 3 departments minimum. Management of outsource suppliers including creating Purchase Orders, open reports, expedites, On-Time Delivery Procuring goods and/or services from approved suppliers. Write/create routine reports and correspondence in capacity planning and MRP/ramp plans to Sales and Operations for line downs/Escalations. Assist in coaching and training employees within the department. Provide lead-times when requested from sales based on the plant schedule and loading. Monitor and manage inventory at a semi-finished good and finished good level aiming to hit Inventory Turns and Days on Hand Targets. Be accountable for managing internal On Time Delivery metric with key stakeholders. Perform capacity analysis for specific work centers as requested from internal/external customers. Perform revenue projection planning daily, monthly, quarterly for assigned value streams. Perform monthly review of unconstrained demand vs constrained inputs and generate production schedule in accordance with Sales & Operation Plan. Support Value Stream Leaders in leading materials related projects and play a key role in new product introductions. Work closely with cross-functional leads to identify, plan, and resolve inconsistencies and gaps between ESH, demand and supply. Work with Procurement to ensure material availability. Communicate ship schedules to Customer Service Advocates. Monitor weekly customer shipments/STO. Monitor lead times and lead time offsets in the system to reflect flow and lean manufacturing principles. Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Analytics, Business, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.

Special Requirements: Requires graduate-level coursework and/or some experience with the following:

  • Scheduling.
  • Procurement.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Data Analytics.
  • Capacity Planning.
