    Job Overview

    Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production execution in alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring the availability of materials, capacity, and resources to meet customer commitments in terms of delivery, quality, and quantity.

    The Planner is responsible for monitoring operational execution in real time and identifying any deviations that may impact on-time delivery performance. In the event of any risk or disruption, the Planner must immediately activate and communicate the issue through the OTD (On-Time Delivery) Reaction Plan, ensuring effective cross-functional coordination and the disciplined execution of recovery actions.

    Job Requirements

    Execute the detailed production schedule for each manufacturing line/cell.

    Generate production orders and release them through the ERP system.

    Verify material availability, tooling, and production capacity before releasing orders.

    Coordinate with Warehouse and Materials teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials to production lines.

    Consider available resources and reflect equipment or tooling interventions, such as preventive maintenance activities, in production schedules.

    Lead the weekly production schedule review meeting with stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

    Communicate agreed production schedules to stakeholders and the Planning team.

    Monitor daily plan-versus-actual performance, identify deviations, and request recovery plans when necessary.

    Manage urgent changes (expedites, cancellations, and rescheduling) in accordance with established procedures.

    Maintain continuous communication with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

    In collaboration with MPS and Master Data teams, update and maintain planning parameters in the system (lead times, minimum lot sizes, safety stock levels).

    Participate in problem-solving meetings and corrective action activities.

    Report key performance indicators (KPIs), including OEE, schedule adherence, and WIP inventory.

    Review and work on exception messages daily.

    Maintain close communication with the Purchasing team to ensure material availability.

    Share the weekly shipping schedule, or according to the required shipping frequency, with relevant stakeholders.

    Participate in the cycle count program on production lines by facilitating production orders for excess production entries and reconciling reported quantities versus physically delivered quantities.

    Manage inventory levels to support Days on Hand inventory targets.

    Proactively collaborate on operational requirements and special company projects when business needs require it, within the scope of responsibility and in accordance with applicable regulations.

    What your background should look like

    Education Level: Bachelor's degree completed in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

    Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a materials planning role, or previous experience in master planning and/or production scheduling.

    Specific Knowledge and Skills

    Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.

    Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced Excel, and data visualization tools.

    Knowledge of Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), S&OP processes, MRP logic, and inventory management strategies.

    Basic knowledge of IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing, pull/Kanban systems; familiarity with Theory of Constraints (TOC) concepts is preferred.

    Ability to multitask in a dynamic and changing environment.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

    Ability to work under pressure while balancing competing priorities and resource constraints.

    Capable of managing multiple demands in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.

    Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve material-related issues.

    SAP experience is a plus.

    APICS certification is preferred.

    Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools is preferred.
