    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    **

    • Maintain in-stock inventory levels for raw materials, components, packaging, and operating supplies.

    • Plan material requirements and monitor safety stock, reorder points, and lead times.

    • Create, issue, track, and manage purchase orders through receipt and reconciliation.

    • Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

    • Serve as a key user and champion of the company ERP system.

    • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, receiving, and supplier master data.

    • Manage daily receiving activities and supervise one direct report.

    • Oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory adjustments.

    • Resolve supplier shipping discrepancies, shortages, and routine quality issues.

    • Develop inventory and purchasing reports to support operational decision-making.

    • Drive continuous improvement in inventory control and ERP utilization.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)

    • Proven experience in inventory control and purchasing or procurement

    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the company

    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

    • Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software

    • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
