Materials Manager

TRC Talent is looking for a Materials Manager for our client in Kennesaw, GA

Job Summary:

The Materials Manager schedules and reviews all Production Orders and Sales Orders. This position will coordinate with function heads to schedule all production orders for products at the Kennesaw site, maintain site Production Board, identify material shortages and manage all US buyers. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure adequate materials levels are available to keep accurate production and shipment schedule of products for internal and external customers.

• Direct Hire

• 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday fully in office

• $105k+ based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Review all Sales Orders for Material Shortages

• Ensure all Production Orders are entered into Production Schedule

• Maintain accurate shipment dates for all customer orders

• Ensure all Completion dates are maintained in accordance with customer requests

• Communicates with Production Manager, Production Leads to accurately schedule work on weekly basis · Identify shortages and communicates to Production Manager, Buyers and Sales of any possible delays to Production Orders

• Populate and maintain Production Board

• Run inventory stocking model

• Manages Ops reviews on Monday

• Managing and updating MPS

• Executive monthly meetings

• Working with warehouse on appropriate inventory transactions (IA) and reclass Manages Buyers

• Manages Buyers and maintains scorecard for buyers on daily and weekly basis

• Ensure material shortages are prioritized

• Oversee MRP/MPS within ERP system and push all material purchasing to buyers

• Reports trends in material shortage or vendor performances to Director of Operations and Sourcing Manager Reporting major shortages, impact to delivery schedules and on-time delivery to local team Maintains a Safe Working Environment

• Maintains a clean and organized work area that is free from debris

• Wears proper clothing and personal protective equipment, as necessary
