We are seeking a skilled and strategic Materials Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory, and distribution of materials at our Composite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. The Materials Manager will ensure an efficient flow of materials to support production schedules, comply with industry regulations, and maintain cost-effective inventory levels.

**Important Notice
 Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and control inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor and analyze stock usage patterns to optimize reorder points and quantities and maintain regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9110 or other applicable regulatory requirements in all materials management processes.
  • Maintain documentation and traceability for all materials used in MRO operations.
  • Supervise and lead the purchasing and stockroom teams, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to align material availability with repair schedules, understand workflows and implement solutions.
  • Create and maintain material forecasts based on production and market trends.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage material workflows and generate reports.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics, such as inventory turns, material availability, and procurement cycle times, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Track supplier and Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, and provide performance feedback
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in materials management, preferably within an MRO or aviation environment.
  • Proficiency in Quantum Control and Excel.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and inventory management techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations and requirements for material traceability.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead teams preferred.
