Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Identification:
- Oversee receiving of all inbound material
- Ensure correct routers are attached to the correct skids
- Verify quantities, part numbers, and customer information
- Flag discrepancies or damage immediately
Location Control Scanning:
- Ensure all skids are placed in the correct physical locations and scanned accurately into their assigned locations
- Maintain real-time visibility of where work is located
Internal Transfers
- Coordinate timely movement of jobs to the processing facility
- Ensure work is transferred based on schedule and priority
- Prevent work from sitting idle due to missed handoffs
Shipping Documentation
- Ensure packing slips are accurate and complete
- Verify quantities, part numbers, and customer requirements before shipment in order to prevent short shipments or documentation errors
Logistics Truck Scheduling
- Schedule trucks and freight pickups when required
- Coordinate with carriers and internal teams
Customer Communication
- Communicate with customers regarding order completion and readiness to ship
- Provide clear, accurate status updates related to shipping and material readiness
Qualifications:
3-5 Years in Shipping and Receiving or Materials Management
College Degree Preferred
Experience with use of an ERP System
Supervisory Experience in the manufacturing industry
