    General Information:

    Job title: Materials Management Clerk

    Schedule: FT 80 hrs/pay period; 8:00am-4:30pm

    Weekend rotation: No Weekends

    Holiday rotation: One holiday worked per year

    Additional Information: Position helps with covering our courrier; occasioinal 11am-7:30pm shift (eligible to recieve PM shift differential)

    Position Summary:

    The Materials Management Clerk position is responsible for distribution and inventory of medical supplies, and equipment. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a curiosity about the firm and industry.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide distribution of supply request and area supply cart restock in a prompt, cooperative and effective manner according to user demand.
    • Maintain inventory control reports for supplies. Inventory control of the Main inventory, department and sub inventories.
    • Perform perpetual inventory for accuracy of the system and preparing reports.
    • Continue education; attends MM meetings and in-service and HealthStream training.
    • Follow the determined delivery schedule to assist or perform with daily transportation of medical supplies to all outreach locations.
    • Perform other duties as requested.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
    • Experience working in the medical industry preferred.
    • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Intermediate proficiency with computers is required.
    • Experience working with patient care supplies and equipment preferred; either in materials management, surgery or patient care areas.
    • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
    • Flexibility to work different shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
    • Ability to carry out a series of work instructions without supervision.
    • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
