Overview / Responsibilities:
Description:
The Materials Handler is responsible for supporting production operations by moving materials, issuing and transferring parts, and ensuring smooth workflow across manufacturing processes. This role works closely with production and planning teams to maintain efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires strong attention to detail, basic SAP knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
•Move materials from machines/workstations as part of the production process
•Issue and transfer parts to support production requirements
•Assist Production Planner and assembly stores as needed
•Maintain accurate material handling and inventory practices
•Utilize SAP and MS Office tools for tracking and reporting
•Support continuous improvement initiatives using manufacturing system principles
•Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards
