The Materials Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and following established shipping, receiving, and safety procedures. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler to support material movement, inventory management, and warehouse operations at a manufacturing facility.

Pay Rate: $20.00 $20.12/hour
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Overtime: As needed

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler to support material movement, inventory management, and warehouse operations at a manufacturing facility.
The Materials Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and following established shipping, receiving, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize crates, boxes, raw materials, and other materials within the facility.
• Transport materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, and other material-handling equipment.
• Read and follow work orders, written instructions, and verbal directions.
• Use hand tools to safely open containers.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing inventory records.
• Perform inventory receiving, acceptance sampling, and restocking activities.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, and stored.
• Verify and maintain material inventory and sample request forms.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Enter and maintain inventory information using computer and ERP systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory management.
• Experience using a pallet jack and familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience working with an ERP system or similar inventory-management system.
• Ability to accurately maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.
