Job Title:         Materials Clerk II

Client:              Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration:         6 Months Contract – Possible Extension
Location:         Menlo Park, CA 94025
Shift:                Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite

Job Summary

Support manufacturing and distribution operations through material movement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and production support. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work under moderate supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

·         Coordinate incoming and outgoing materials, including raw materials and finished goods.

·         Support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities.

·         Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.

·         Perform production support tasks such as assembly, packaging, and processing.

·         Operate automatic or semi-automatic equipment as needed.

·         Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or abnormalities.

·         Track and maintain data related to order volumes and production schedules.

·         Maintain accurate records and follow SOPs/work instructions.

·         Assist with distribution center operations, storage, and material handling.

·         Provide guidance to entry-level team members when required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

·         High School Diploma / GED required.

·         0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling.

·         Basic knowledge of production processes and inventory systems.

·         Computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·         Ability to follow and write work instructions.

·         Strong attention to detail.

·         Ability to work in a structured environment.

 

Work Environment

·         Work under moderate supervision with defined procedures.

·         Perform routine to moderately complex tasks.

·         Apply basic decision-making and judgment when needed.

·         Communicate with internal teams and support daily manufacturing/distribution operations.
