JOB TITLE: Materials Analyst
LOCATION:Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $30.77-33.13/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Summary: 

• Analyzes material inventory position, shortages, and supply risks.

• Investigates and resolves material-related issues caused by supply disruptions.

• Monitors shortage reports, open demand, and past due materials.

• Coordinates daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and cross-functional teams to resolve material shortages.

• Escalates critical shortages with clear communication and recommended actions.

• Develops and maintains reports, trackers, and analysis to improve material visibility, shortage management, and operational decision making.

• Implements material intercompany purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and stores functions.

• Ensures execution of critical tasks to support shop performance and customer satisfaction.

• Uses SAP, MRP or ERP systems, Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, and other tools for material availability analysis and reporting.

• Resolves material issues due to supply-based problems, inventory errors, or demand changes.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• 3+ years of experience in planning.

• Experience with MRP or ERP systems and SAP.

• Experience in manufacturing planning.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, and Power BI.

• Experience analyzing material availability and supply risk.

• Experience investigating and resolving material shortages.

• Experience monitoring shortage reports, open demand, and past due materials.

• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Quality.

• Preferred: 2-year degree and experience in materials management or planning.
