Material Planner & Support

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Summary:

• Duration: 12 Months
• Work Mode: Open to 100% remote candidates, but prefer hybrid in Neenah, WI
• Work hours: 8am-4PM CST M-F

Responsibilities:

• Execute material requirement plans to ensure supplies and work-in-process availability which supports production schedules
• Maintain accurate planning information for materials in SAP (an Enterprise Resource Planning system) and Kinaxis Rapid Response, updating as necessary for material/product changes
• Manage material changes to support business plans and minimize obsolescence
• Coordinate material production with packaging and graphics timelines developed in conjunction with Operations, Marketing, Planning, and Packaging
• Work with vendors to coordinate their schedules and establish priorities when required to prevent supply constraints or customer service issues; ensure vendor resources will support business plan
• Aid in the execution and completion of special projects related to the logistics field as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or a high school diploma with strong experience
• Demonstration of thoroughness and attention to detail
• A demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions
• Demonstrate personal credibility through strong communication skills, achieving results, and trusted relationships with others
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of and experience with SAP
• Working knowledge of supply chain interactions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
