We are currently seeking a Material and Machine Associate for our client located in Seneca, SC.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through the safe handling of materials, operation of production equipment, and maintenance of workflow efficiency. Responsibilities
  • Receive, transport, stage, and supply materials to production areas.
  • Monitor material inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies.
  • Load and unload materials using approved equipment and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of materials.
  • Operate assigned production equipment according to established procedures.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs.
  • Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and startup activities.
  • Identify and report equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
  • Participate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support plant goals related to productivity, waste reduction, and quality performance.
  • Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel.
  • Assist in training new associates as needed.
  • Support departmental objectives and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in performing duties across multiple work areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills.
  • Experience operating production machinery.
  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience.
  • Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement principles.
Shift: 1st Pay: $18.00
