Job Summary:The Material Handling Equipment Operator is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and safely moving material within the warehouse by carrying, lifting, and safely operating a hand truck, or skid steer
. Minimum 1 hour of pay for brief on call skid steer duties.
Responsibilities:- Help unload and load trucks in a safe manner
- Receive and sort
- Operate a skid steer or pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Help maintain strict organization in the backroom
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Always have a customer-first mentality
Qualifications:- Willingness to gain a vast knowledge of consumable products
- Experience in a retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- At least 18 years of age.
