Material Handler / Production Support AssociatePay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Location: Heber Springs, AR
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable Material Handlers / Production Support Associates for a manufacturing facility in Heber Springs, AR. This position offers a four-day workweek and is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in an industrial environment. Employees will support production operations by moving materials, preparing parts for processing, and assisting multiple departments. Training Schedule: Training will be conducted on 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, for approximately 2-3 weeks before transitioning to the regular schedule.Requirements for the Material Handler
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or material handling experience is helpful
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes or willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials safely throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Material Handler Responsibilities
  • Load carts and tables with various parts to prepare materials for the paint and blast departments
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the facility
  • Follow safe lifting practices when handling parts and materials
  • Unload carts and tables onto cardboard-lined pallets for shipping, storage, or further processing
  • Prepare vessels and parts for the Paint Department by vacuuming, masking, and completing other preparation tasks using shop vacs, masking tape, paper, and related materials
  • Move and stage vessels for assembly operations using forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with additional production and material handling duties as assigned
