Material Handler with Forklift

Start your new career as a Forklift/Material Handler with MAU at our client in Conyers, GA. As a Forklift/Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving materials, supplies, and finished products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

• 1st shift schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (2/2/3 schedule)

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate degree highly preferred
• 1-3+ years of forklift and material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift 26-50 pounds
• Ability to stoop and bend regularly

What You'll Do as a Forklift/Material Handler:

• Receive incoming goods and verify shipments against records
• Inspect materials and products for quality and accuracy
• Gather, verify, and package items for shipment according to specifications
• Maintain accurate records of received and shipped materials
• Support receiving and shipping department processes and procedures
• Track and document damaged, defective, or missing items
• Ensure materials are shipped correctly to manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, or customer locations
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization
• Perform additional duties as assigned
