MPS Group, Inc., is seeking multiple Material Handlers to join our team at the Mercedes Benz US International facility located in Vance, AL. These individuals will ensure safe and efficient removal, and handling of industrial material and/or waste in a manufacturing environment using powered industrial vehicles or equipment.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift, tuggers scrubbers), flatbed trucks, including conducting daily inspections and performing safe operations as trained and certified.
- Assist waste consolidation/chemical conveyance.
- Assist with documenting container inspections and waste pickup.
- Inspect waste storage areas and emergency equipment, taking corrective action to address deficiencies identified during the inspection.
- Adhere to and comply with the site-specific health and safety plan, host facility policies, and applicable government health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Use all assigned PPE and follow task instruction sheets.
- Assist and perform 5S spill response.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PIV (forklift, tuggers scrubbers) certification
- HazMat, DOT, RCRA, or environmental compliance training/certifications.
