Job description:

Our client, a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Material Handler in Tualatin, OR.

Pay Rate Range:

• Morning Shift: $21/hr.
• Day Shift/Swing Shift: $23.10/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Review customer orders and stock, distribute, and move materials throughout warehouses and manufacturing areas.
• Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
• Identify, label, and record material locations to maintain accurate inventory.
• Perform pre-use inspections of material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Complete material transactions in SAP and required tasks in IQMS and MFG/Cell Fusion systems.
• Perform and report cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Oversee crating and audit outbound materials.
• Operate forklifts, trucks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Coordinate nonstandard crating, rigging, and trucking activities through appropriate channels.
• Prepare finished products for shipment by locating, pulling, packing, and loading materials.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely move and handle materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems such as SAP and inventory management applications.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and shipping requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work the assigned shift schedule.
