Warehouse Associate Material Handler
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate for a 3-month assignment! We are looking for someone with warehouse experience who is comfortable picking orders, stocking materials, operating forklifts, and cutting wire. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM4:30 PM
Lunch Break: 1 hour
Assignment Length: 3 months - may consider Temp to Hire.
Interview Required: Yes
Job Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Stock, organize, and maintain warehouse materials and inventory.
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely.
- Cut wire according to order specifications and workplace procedures.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify materials and orders for accuracy before processing or shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operating instructions.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift operating experience preferred, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Experience with wire cutting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Dress Code & PPE
- Jeans or shorts are permitted.
- Long-sleeve or short-sleeve shirts are acceptable.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe footwear is required.
