Material Handler / Shipping and ReceivingImmediate Need | Temp to Hire | $20.00 per hour
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving candidate to join a busy warehouse team. This is an immediate opening with the opportunity to be hired in as a permanent employee.
Responsibilities:- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips
- Stage materials for production and shipping
- Pull and deliver materials to the production floor
- Process shipping and receiving paperwork
- Enter receiving transactions into SAP
- Generate shipping labels and internal storage labels
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and material movement
- Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Maintain shipping documentation and records
- Support warehouse and logistics operations as needed
Qualifications:- 3+ years of shipping and receiving or material handling experience
- Forklift experience required. Certification is a plus. Company can provide training if needed
- Experience using RF scanners
- SAP experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license
