We are seeking experienced Material Handlers / Stand-Up Reach Operators for a company located in Romeoville, IL.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for reliable, safety-conscious candidates with experience operating a Stand-Up Reach forklift. Top performers may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
Shift: 3rd Shift – 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday
Weekend Rotation: Saturday or Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a Stand-Up Reach, sit-down, or clamp forklift safely and efficiently.
- Pick and put away products and materials.
- Load and unload pallets.
- Prepare pallets for shipment.
- Operate machines used to strap and wrap pallets.
- Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Safely and carefully handle products and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform general housekeeping and stow maintenance using the "clean as you go" approach.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
