Description
Hours: Monday – Friday 1st shift: 6am-2pm
Essential Functions
Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
Perform warehouse responsibilities
Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Forklift experience/ Certification
Accurately loads material and meticulously monitors machine’s process and finished product.
Properly completes production paperwork and utilizes a barcoding system.
Reviews and follows shipping order instructions and specifications.
Ability to operate an air compressed bander.
Ability to read packaging instructions on work orders.
Expected to be able to handle tasks/cross-train to help the company meet its goals.
Required Education and Experience:
Education and/or experience – High School degree or equivalent. Prior experience or training in a related field or manufacturing environment preferred.
Math – Must be able to use and understand simple mathematics, using addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals. Knowledge of the Standard/Imperial measuring system is required and knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
Understanding and use of basic measuring instruments required; micrometers, digital calipers, tape measure is required.
