Material Handler

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Summary:

• Location: Sherman, TX
• Shift: 1st Shift, 6AM to 2:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Pack orders in Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack out Stations utilizing the Flagship system.
• Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickets.
• Break down material, sort styles, verify counts, and restock appropriate warehouse locations.
• Use RF scanners to scan material, styles, location and re-verify counts.
• Verify styles and quantities of materials picked.
• Visually inspect products, scan, and place them in shipping cartons.
• Place packing material in shipping cartons to minimize potential product damage during shipping.
• Place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
• Resolve discrepancies and research all possible solutions to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain quality workmanship and observe safety procedures.
• Report unsafe acts and perform work of equal or lower classification if necessary.
• Continuously stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull.

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Minimum 6 months experience with Forklift, Cherry picker, or Reach Truck.
• Flexibility to work specific hours and overtime based on customer demand.
• Previous forklift and/or order picker operation experience.
