Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Material Handler to join our client’s production team. In this role you will be responsible for moving, storing and tracking materials within a warehouse/production environment. This role ensures materials are delivered to the correct locations safely and efficiently to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials manually or using an electric forklift
- Transport materials to and from storage or production areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Inspect materials for damage and report any issues
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (may include heat, cold, or noise)
Pay:
- $19-$22
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday: 7am-3pm
