Material Handler (Returns)

Duties include verifying paperwork, identifying damaged items, updating inventory records, and routing materials for restocking, repair, or disposal. This role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, communicating discrepancies, keeping the work area organized, and following all safety procedures.

The Material Handler (Returns) is responsible for receiving, inspecting, sorting, and processing returned materials. Duties include verifying paperwork, identifying damaged items, updating inventory records, and routing materials for restocking, repair, or disposal. This role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, communicating discrepancies, keeping the work area organized, and following all safety procedures.

• Receive, inspect, and sort returned materials to ensure accuracy and identify damaged or defective items.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and return paperwork to ensure all materials are properly documented.
• Process returned materials in the inventory system and maintain accurate records.
• Sort and route materials to the appropriate locations for restocking, inspection, repair, or disposal.
• Communicate return discrepancies or damaged materials to supervisors and the appropriate departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe returns area while following all company safety procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support daily operations and meet productivity goals.
