Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and work instructions.
• Basic math and inventory skills preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience operating a Reach Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Clamp Forklift required.
• Strong background in warehouse operations, order picking, inventory movement, and material handling.
• Experience loading, unloading, staging, and transporting products within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Experience with RF scanners, inventory systems, or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Dependable work history and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, productivity-driven warehouse environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials as required throughout the shift.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and equipment operation.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment while following all safety requirements.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 1st Shift.

Job Duties

• Safely operate Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and Clamp Forklifts to move, store, and organize inventory.
• Load and unload trailers, containers, and warehouse storage locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Transport materials throughout the facility to support shipping, receiving, and production needs.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and productivity standards.
• Assist with general warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving duties as needed.

What You Will Do

As a Material Handler Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.

A Material Handler Operator helps maintain organized warehouse operations through safe operation of forklifts and efficient movement of inventory throughout the facility. This role combines equipment expertise with warehouse organization and operational awareness.
