Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable Material Handler / Utility Personnel to join a growing manufacturing team in Oklahoma City. This cross-trained position begins with warehouse, material handling, and general utility responsibilities while providing opportunities to advance into manufacturing and plastic injection molding roles, including maintenance, production, quality control, and tooling.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and eager to learn multiple aspects of manufacturing operations while building a long-term career.
Required Experience & Skills
Valid Oklahoma driver's license required
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts
Ability to operate a 1-ton bobtail delivery truck (similar to a furniture moving truck)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Reliable transportation required
Forklift certification preferred but not required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
Operate a 1-ton bobtail delivery truck as needed for deliveries and material transport
Receive, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory of raw materials and finished goods
Prepare and stage raw materials for production operations
Support production technicians and packaging personnel with material movement and supply needs
Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Move materials weighing up to 200 lbs using appropriate material handling equipment
Clean and maintain the warehouse, delivery truck, tumbling area, and workspaces
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Perform additional warehouse and manufacturing support duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous warehouse or material handling experience
Experience working in plastic injection molding environments
Forklift operating experience or certification
Vo-Tech training or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or industrial maintenance fields
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to move materials weighing up to 200 lbs using proper equipment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around forklifts, production equipment, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and warehouse facility
