Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule
Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM 
Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a stable, full-time opportunity? Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable individuals to join a manufacturing team as a Material Handler. This position plays a vital role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials and finished products are moved, tracked, and stored accurately throughout the facility.Requirements for the Material Handler

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• At least 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

Material Handler Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Move and distribute paper rolls weighing up to 3,500 pounds to production equipment
• Verify inventory counts and properly store incoming materials
• Deliver and remove skids and pallets from production areas
• Use JDE or other ERP systems to issue, assign, track, and return materials for production jobs
• Transfer finished cartons from conveyors to pallets, wrap pallets, and move completed products to staging areas
• Maintain recycling areas and manage recycling containers throughout the production floor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently use hands and arms to handle materials and equipment
• Occasionally sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to maintain distance vision, color vision, and focus adjustment capabilities

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to moving machinery
• Occasional exposure to extreme heat
• Loud manufacturing environment; hearing protection is provided and required
